Shaima — Founder of the Inner Rising Movement

Shaima is a trauma-informed coach, speaker, and former IT consultant who spent years working with global organisations including JP Morgan and KPMG. After a successful career advising complex systems in the corporate world, her own journey of healing led her to recognise a deeper truth: the most complex systems we must learn to understand are the ones within ourselves.

Through confronting and dissolving her own trauma rooted in family systems, culture, and inherited beliefs, Shaima shifted her life’s work toward guiding others through the inner landscapes that shape their reality.

Today she works at the intersection of psychology, spirituality, and human behaviour, using ontological coaching and a range of trauma-informed modalities to help individuals courageously face the hidden narratives driving their lives.

Her work invites people to step into the places they often avoid — their shadow, their suppressed emotions, their unresolved childhood dynamics — so they can finally see what has been silently shaping their choices, relationships, and sense of self.

Shaima describes her work simply: “I go after the heart.”

Because when the heart is protected, the mind creates stories to keep us safe — stories of limitation, scarcity, resentment, and fear. These stories quietly determine how we relate to money, relationships, power, forgiveness, and even our relationship with the Divine.

Her mission is to help people see these stories clearly, release what no longer serves them, and reclaim the freedom of their mind and spirit.

From the deep demand she has witnessed in her clients and the wider collective, Shaima created The Empowering Series — a set of transformational conversations and workshops that form part of the Inner Rising Movement.

This movement responds to a growing awareness in society that many of the systems we trusted — family structures, authority figures, institutions — have not always protected or supported our wellbeing. Rather than remaining disempowered by this reality, Shaima’s work invites people to reclaim their inner authority.

Through powerful guided inquiry, somatic awareness, and deep emotional work, participants are invited to examine the unconscious beliefs shaping key areas of life, including:

• Our relationship with money and abundance – uncovering childhood conditioning around scarcity, power, and worthiness that silently blocks prosperity.

• Forgiveness and the liberation of the heart – releasing resentment that binds us to the past and prevents true spiritual surrender and inner peace.

• Power dynamics and bullying in the workplace – recognising manipulation, reclaiming personal authority, and learning to hold grounded conversations even in difficult environments.

• Creativity in the age of AI – expanding human imagination beyond the limits of existing systems and rediscovering our innate capacity to create something entirely new.

• Divorce and mediation preparation – helping individuals approach difficult negotiations from clarity rather than unresolved emotional wounds.

At the centre of Shaima’s work is one core belief: true freedom begins when we become aware of the stories running our lives.

When those stories are seen clearly, the armour around the heart begins to soften. From that place, people can rediscover joy, connection, creativity, and a deeper relationship with themselves, with others, and with the Divine.

Shaima’s work is not about fixing people.

It is about helping them remember who they were before fear, conditioning, and survival strategies shaped their lives.

Because when the heart opens and the mind becomes free from old narratives, a different way of living becomes possible.
